Influential defender Virgil van Dijk, meanwhile, was on the bench after injuring his hamstring at the start of January.Liverpool’s struggles this season pale in comparison to those of Everton, who last month sacked Frank Lampard, the seventh manager to be fired by owner Farhad Moshiri since 2017.
