Images show thick plumes of black smoke billowing out above the capital's coastline. According to Edinburgh Live, locals have reported seeing the smoke from their homes in Fife across the Firth of Forth. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed that the fire is still active. Two fire appliances are currently tackling the blaze.A spokesperson for the SFRS said: “We can confirm that we are in attendance at an ongoing fire at Lower Granton Road.
