htxt.africast – What’s on our watch/play list for December
With businesses readying for the festive season, schools closing for the holidays, and South Africans generally gatvol with the current state of affairs, December is the perfect time to binge watch some series, or engross yourself in gaming.
Before that, however, we discuss the most interesting news stories of the week, starting with a less than satisfactory encounter with our own Brendyn Lotz and a Bolt driver. Turning to the ridesharing platform for assistance, his interactions, or lack thereof, left a lot to be desired. Lastly we look at the launch of the country’s first Artificial Intelligence Institute. The Institute will be working with two universities in Gauteng, with UJ even looking to make a course in AI compulsory for its students moving forward, according to its vice-chancellor. Precisely how it will be implemented, however, is yet to be disclosed.
