The King's coronation will be one of the major TV moments of 2023, with cameras ready to capture every second of the pomp and ceremony.Here are all the details you'll need to watch the coronation on TV - from what channel to tune in to, to the key timings you need to be aware of on the day.Kay Burley will be live from Westminster Abbey as the troops who will take part in the coronation start to take up their positions.
From 9am, Anna Botting will be live from Buckingham Palace in the build-up to the ceremony, including the procession to Westminster Abbey. The ceremony will start at 11am, followed by the procession back to Buckingham Palace which begins at around 1pm. The royal family are expected on the palace balcony in the early afternoon for the fly-past, which will be broadcast live.
As the day draws to a close, Mark Austin will reflect on the proceedings from Buckingham Palace between 5-8pm.From 8-9pm, Gillian Joseph will look at highlights and how the day was marked around the country, followed by a special coronation highlights hour between 9-10pm.Sky News is available free of charge via Freeview channel 233, Sky channel 501, Virgin 603 and BT 313.Ad breaks will be removed between 9am-3pm on Sky News so you won't miss a moment of the coronation.
