The White House on Tuesday launched an interactive map that allows voters to track thousands of infrastructure and manufacturing projects, including in central Ohio.
, maps 32,000 projects funded by the federal government and private investment in industries including computer chips, electric vehicles, batteries and clean energy, among others.
Users on the site can look at a national map or scroll through projects by state. The site documents private investments of more than $100 million that the administration said its policies helped to spur. It also provides additional economic data and details at the state level, including on how administration policies have increased access to health care coverage and lowered prescription drug prices.
The map includes several projects in central Ohio, including Intel's $20 billion investment in Licking County and Hyperion's hydrogen fuel cell plant on the west side of Columbus.Polls show President Biden has struggled to gain the public's approval on his handling of the nation's economy. The new website comes as he prepares to run for re-election in 2024.
