The Yasha Sniper Rifle is one of the new weapons that the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty DLC is bringing to Night City. But getting this new weapon isn't as easy as killing some random Netrunner or working a side gig; instead, it's a part of the Cyberpunk 2077 Twitch Drop event.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT In conjunction with the release of Phantom Liberty, CD Projekt Red has launched the Cyberpunk 2077 Twitch Drop event, which will run from September 25 at 1pm CEST until October 21 at 11:59pm CEST. Its main aim is to promote the DLC by rewarding participating players with exclusive loot, and the Yasha Sniper Rifle is the prize everyone has their eyes set on.
In order for CD Projekt Red to track your participation in the Cyberpunk 2077 Twitch Drop event, you must link your GOG account to your Twitch account. In addition, you will have to log in to your GOG account when redeeming the code to make sure the weapon goes to your in-game stash. How To Link Your GOG And Twitch Accounts To ensure you receive the awards for participating in the event, you must first link your GOG account with the Cyberpunk Twitch Drops page. If you don't already have a GOG account, you'll need to create one before you can link it to your Twitch account or vice versa. Nonetheless, once you've got both accounts active, just follow the steps outlined on the page to link them and begin participating in the event.
While gifting two subs to any eligible streamer will net you the Yasha Sniper Rifle, there are other Twitch Drops available for free, not to mention the secret Demiurge free vehicle. By watching any of the eligible streamers for one hour during the event, you can obtain the NUS Infiltrator Pants, Boots, Jacket, and Headgear. That way you can kick off your Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty experience with some stylish new clothes and an exciting new weapon.
