How the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and Fold5 compare to last year’s models
Many of the improvements made to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and Fold5 are to the durability and performance of the handset.
Not much has changed as regards camera sensors and display sizes apart from the Flex Window of the Z Flip5.On Thursday Samsung drew back the curtain and revealed the latest smartphones in its Fold and Flip series. The firm has made a number of improvements to these handsets although not all of them will be immediately visible. The
for instance still has the same Foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X 7.6inch display inside with a 6.2 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display on the cover.which still has a 6.7inch Foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. However, the Flex Window has been enlarged from 1.9inches in the Z Flip4 to 3.4inches in the Z Flip5.Both foldables also now boast an IPX8 rating which means they should stand up to a splash or accidental spill.
Pre-orders open on 11th August for both the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 with both handsets becoming available on 25th August.
