Pitso Mosimane 's Abha Club recorded a hugely significant victory on Thursday night to boost their chances of surviving relegation following a dramatic late winner – here is what they need to stay in the division. In what could be Abha's most important three points of the 2023/24 season, the Leaders of the South beat Al Khaleej 2-1 at home on Thursday to give themselves a good chance of staying in the Saudi top flight.
Abha took the lead through Guinea international Francois Kamano in the 34th minute and held on to their advantage until the 78th minute, when their opponents equalised through Abdulla Al Salem.
