Everyone around me was telling me that it was going to be a hit, but I didn’t know that it was gonna do, what it’s gonna do.I went to see Drake in the studio in Toronto and he just said like, ‘Yo, I want to play this record,’ and the 40 beat … that beat was amazing. Like, you know, you just felt it right away. And he had a hook idea on it. So we took it back maybe, like, it was maybe two months later, I was like, ‘You know what, like, I gotta find something for this.
