The fight will have a 185lb catchweight, meaning this is the heaviest the pair can weigh in at without suffering a financial penalty. Paul is typically heavier than Fury. Paul said ahead of the fight: “There is penalties for not making weight. But Tommy’s light.“Tommy’s a little bit lighter, he’s probably like 190 right now. So he’s probably only cutting like 5lbs.”Paul will be guaranteed $3.2m , plus 65 per cent of the pay-per-view money, giving him a potential purse of $8.6m including sponsorship deals.There is an additional $1m on the line for the winner.
