A familiar face and a welcoming smile—sometimes it goes a long way when finding yourself in unfamiliar surroundings. For the NFL, while relocating is the name of the game, the locker room in Athens, Georgia has made its way north to the City of Brotherly Love.
For many of the league’s rookies, a new environment comes with jitters or the ole’ butterflies. It’s pro ball, the bigs, and the weight of expectations is often heavier on the shoulders than the pads rookies have to carry to earn their due from locker room veterans. But for the names mentioned above, years of relationships both on and off the field should allow them to not only compete but produce for the Eagles from day one.
In Ringo, the Eagles added one of the premier corners in the class on Day 3. While there are concerns over his hips and transitions in man, he can overwhelm less physical wideouts inside the contact window and is a boundary defender that uses his 200-plus-pound frame extremely well in space to wall off pass-catchers down the far hash. Oh, and he runs 4.3.
