Muggy weather is coming for Houston

on Thursday. After one more cool night, the humidity will start to set in and the chance of thunderstorms will increase. There's no relief from the mugginess in the extended forecast, either. The National Weather Service is advising that people who plan to work outside in coming days to make sure to hydrate and take breaks during times of peak heat., and maybe offer some relief in the coming days.The night will stay mild with lows in the mid-60s. Patchy fog could develop in some areas.The day will become increasingly more humid. There's a chance of thunderstorms, especially in counties west of Harris County. The threat of storms will remain highest through Friday morning.

The forecast will be drier at the coast and rain chances will be slightly higher in College Station, according to the weather service.
