A BAKKIE linked to various house-burglary and theft incidents in Durban North and other parts of Durban was stopped by Marshall Security armed response officers on Sunday morning .'The vehicle was spotted on Ypsilanti Avenue and seemed suspicious. Upon noticing members , the driver immediately sped off. Durban North SAPS was immediately contacted for assistance,' said Marshall Security spokesperson Tyron Powell.
Multiple electrical power tools, kitchen equipment and electrical gardening tools, worth approximately R60 000, were found. The suspects’ vehicle had also been linked to a theft case last Friday, where a trailer had been stolen from a homeowner’s property on Kinclaven Drive in the Durban North area, as well as to a theft of a motorbike on David Avenue on Wednesday morning this week.
