One person was killed and three others were injured in multiple overnight shootings in Puyallup, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Office.
Pierce County deputies respond to vehicle in a ditch near Puyallup, following a shooting that left one dead and three injured.
“One person called and said there was a vehicle that crashed into a ditch,” Pierce County Sheriff’s Sergeant Darren Moss Jr. said in a statement released on “X.”Deputies arrived at the intersection of 152nd Street E. and 66th Avenue E. and found the vehicle lying in the ditch. When investigating the car, responding law enforcement officers found someone inside, a male who had been shot. His injuries were not life-threatening.
Detectives believe everyone involved had been at the same party, and that both Puyallup shootings stemmed from the same party, but the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office is still piecing together the details of what led to the violent encounter. “Deputies canvassed the area, but could not find the location of the shooting,” Moss said in his statement on “X.”Investigators are seeking help from the public as they work to identify possible suspects. Moss said this violence is part of a disturbing trend.
