Breakout House of the Dragon star Milly Alcock becomes Spider-Gwen in a new Marvel fan art. The Game of Thrones prequel series boasts a number of formidable acting talents, including Paddy Considine and Matt Smith, which makes Alcock's standout performance all the more impressive. Alcock portrays a young Rhaenyra Targaryen in the series, with Emma D'Arcy set to take over the role after House of the Dragon's 10-year time jump.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Alcock had a role in 2017's High Life as well as small stints in Australian series Janet King as well as A Place To Call Home. On Netflix, viewers can see Alcock in Pine Gap, and she stars in The Gloaming on Starz. In terms of upcoming projects, the only confirmed roles Alcock will be taking on after House of the Dragon are a turn in Upright season 2 and short film Furlough by Phoebe Tonkin.

Gwen Stacy has a superpowered alter-ego called Spider-Gwen, also known as Ghost-Spider, who is from an alternate universe in which Gwen was bitten by a radioactive spider instead of Peter Parker.
There is, unfortunately, no timeline as to a potential live-action iteration of Spider-Gwen, but fans have speculated that Sony could use the character in a future project, with previous fan casts putting Sydney Sweeney, now set to star in Madame Web, in the role. With Emma D'Arcy taking over the role of Rhaenyra in the upcoming episodes of House of the Dragon, audience are sure to miss Alcock's version of the fascinating character.
