WASHINGTON — House Democrats and the Trump administration have reached a deal on a coronavirus aid package that includes free testing, paid emergency leave and other resources intended to help stem the crisis and stabilize the financial markets, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Friday.
“We are proud to have reached an agreement with the Administration to resolve outstanding challenges, and now will soon pass the Families First Coronavirus Response Act," Pelosi said. President Donald Trump has green-lighted the “Families First Coronavirus Response Act” and was expected to tweet his approval of the deal, two administration officials tell NBC News.
