German police evacuated parts of Dresden on Saturday morning after a man reportedly took two people hostage at a mall. The hostages have been free and the suspect is dead, according to police reports.

Around 10:50 a.m. local time, authorities evacuated the city center, including parts of its Christmas market, after reports of shots fired near downtown Dresden.
