Barratt Developments Scotland teamed up with charity to identify what was required to bring the garden to life before securing materials and volunteering staff to carry out the work.

Patients and families at St Andrew’s Hospice can now enjoy a new serenity garden on the Airdrie charity's grounds.

Barratt Developments’ employees are given two days paid leave each year to volunteer with a local charity of their choice. The housebuilder’s West of Scotland team obtained a list of materials needed to finish the space and enlisted the help of construction director Craig McFarlane and construction manager Tom Hill to survey the area.
