There's apparently a secret language being shared in grocery stores and it's one that could land you with a little bit more than just a fruit salad.

If you pick up a bunch of bananas, if they are upright, so the curve’s facing up in the top cart, this means you are single.
“Now if you just want to buy bananas but you’re not looking, you turn them the other way, down — so that means you are not open.”“If you have a pineapple, upside down in your cart, you are telling everybody that you are a swinger and you are open to swinging,” she explained. But if you’re looking for a relationship, you need to grab a peach, revealing that you place the fruit in the cart of the person you’re interested in.
If there are no bananas in the upright position, the podcast host and recent author pointed out that you could just be throwing peaches out left, right, and centre. In that case, either the person will be grateful for the addition to their next smoothie, or you’ll be heading home together to enjoy all manners of peaches.Or, more to the point, who would prefer to be just left the hell alone while buying their fruit and veg?
