Washington, DC — On behalf of the family of Patricia Baine, and the Board of Directors of The Africa Society, we are grateful for the outpouring of love, respect and sympathy that has been received from people throughout the United States, Africa and around the world response to her passing on December 10, 2022.
Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Joseph Gawler’s Sons, LLC, Funeral Home, located at 5130 Wisconsin Ave, NW, Washington, D.C. 20016. The Africa Society Board of Directors will be hosting a memorial luncheon in January for family, friends, and the Africanist community. Date and venue will be announced soon.
