There were unanswered questions Saturday about the circumstances that led the victim, Vuyo Kashe, to fatal gunfire on Clarence Street, between the King Edward and Nelson Street intersections, at about 11:40 p.m. the night before.
They didn’t have any indication that there was a public threat, according to the homicide unit’s Staff Sgt. Jeff Pilon. But police were working to identify any suspects, “And all the who, why, when, where, how,” said Pilon.“If there are some and they haven’t reached out, we’d like to talk to them,” said Pilon. “Or if anybody has video that captures the shooting, we definitely would like to see that.
