The 43rd annual Northern BC Home & Garden Show opens at Exhibition Park in Prince George Friday at 3 p.m. and goes all weekend.

After a pandemic hiatus of three long years, the 43rd annual Northern BC Home & Garden Show opens at Exhibition Park Friday at 3 p.m.

“As the grass reappears, people are eager to expand their living space to include outdoors,” Terri McConnachie, executive officer, Canadian Home Builders Association of Northern BC that hosts the event, said. There’s many activities at the home and garden show including Ask the Expert where people can bring swatches, paint chips, ideas and dreams while others looking to the great outdoors can learn to design and build gardens and flower beds in a workshop hosted by Hunniford Gardens. Attend a luncheon with Amanda Jarrett, a red seal horticulturist, to explore growing food in containers and small spaces.
