It comes after Aldi, Lidl, and Dunelm are all sold out of similar models
Heated airers, like air fryers, have been selling out left, right and centre as many Brits continue to look for ways to save money on their energy bills by ditching the oven, tumble dryer and quite often, their central heating, too.
The ‘gold dust gadgets’ are being snapped up in order to dry clothes faster than a regular airer, without the need for the tumble dryer - but you’ll have to be quick to get your hands on one.The average tumble dryer costs around 85p per hour to run, based on figures from Citizen’s advice, so using a heater airer can save a whopping 92 per cent.
Coming in at just 220 watts, the eco-friendly and cost-effective heated clothes airer costs around 7p an hour to run, and doubles up as a room heater, so you won’t need the heating on, either. The airer offers 18 heated bars for 90cm by 53cm of drying space - plus the free standing airer folds flat for easy storage so it is perfect for when space is at a premium.
