Two-times Rugby World Cup champion Handre Pollard is one of the highest-paid rugby players outside of the Springboks.Now, with a baby on the way, the couple are settling into their home away from home in Leicester in the UK.In 2022, Handre Pollard made the trek to the UK, signing a R14 million a year contract with Leicester Tigers.
He told the publication in 2022: “I’ve always wanted to come to England. I wanted to come here three years ago, but there wasn’t really the opportunity, so I had to go elsewhere”. He added: “My wife has been here for a few months now, and she has sorted out the house. I missed all the heavy lifting and the building of the cupboards. That’s been great!” the couple first began dating in 2013, while Marise was a student at The University of Pretoria and Pollard was playing for the Bulls.She said: “He wasn’t the kind of guy I would usually fall for. But he was incredibly attractive to me! He was strong, muscular, and an introvert.
The double-story face brick home boasts a white, black, and neutral colour palette with subtle decor, no doubt curated by social media influencer Marise.
