Award-winning actor Malik Yoba will hold a masterclass for youth development at the Joburg Film Festival. The festival aims to promote Pan-Africanism through its selection of films.
The Joburg Film Festival starts on 27 February and will continue until 3 March. Yoba starred in popular films, including Tyler Perry's 'Why Did I Get Married?' franchise. The Joburg Film Festival kicks off in less than a week from today. To add to the anticipation, the festival organisers announced that they would bring a Hollywood influence to their line-up this year.
On Tuesday, festival organisers announced that award-winning actor, musician and philanthropist Malik Yoba will be in attendance and will hold a masterclass for youth development. Tim Mangwedi, executive director of the festival, said the films selected are from across the continent, making Pan-Africanism a focus for the festival.
