After spending Christmas in Glasgow with his partner, former Love Island star Laura Anderson, actor Gary Lucy ended up in crutches and a knee brace following the crash on Boxing Day.
The 41-year-old shared shocking photos of the vehicle all smashed up, saying that he had 'nine lives' and 'someone was watching over' him as he managed to avoid serious injury.She shared a collage of images detailing the incident, which showed Gary lying in hospital with a very swollen knee before recovering at Laura's flat in the city.
Gary re-shared the images with the caption:"Huge thank you to all at Glasgow Royal Infirmary Hospital.The pair met on the most recent series of E4's Celebs Go Dating, and Laura - who moved to Glasgow earlier this year - recently shared snaps of the couple enjoying their first Christmas together before the crash.
