This Morning's Holly Willoughby is reportedly said to have 'fully complied and cooperated' with the independent inquiry into the scandal surrounding former co-host and friend, Phillip Schofield.
This Morning host Holly Willoughby has now spoken to the lawyer that is heading the independent inquiry into the Phillip Schofield scandal. Pals of Holly's have noted that "she has nothing to hide" amid the review fronted by Jane Mulcahy KC.
The disgraced star exited ITV's This Morning and the broadcaster itself back in May after he admitted to having a relationship with a younger male colleague outwith his own marriage. Senior ITV executives, including boss Kevin Lygo, have also been spoken to regarding the external review. Speaking at the Edinburgh TV Festival, ITV's managing director Lygo said: "[Mulcahy] has been talking to everybody involved, they take your phone and look at every single text you've ever sent, email, WhatsApp.
ITV bosses have previously claimed that both Phillip and his younger partner "repeatedly denied" allegations of an affair, until the former presenter departed from the broadcaster and publicly apologised.
