Holly and Phil have presented ThisMorning together since 2009
Things between This Morning and Holly Willoughby are said to be “tense” as she continues to find herself at the centre of a “queue jumping” row alongside fellow presenter Philip Schofield.
Speaking to The Sun, a source said: “She feels like she has been left out to dry by ITV in some aspects and is understandably very angry. The claims come after Holly and Phil, 60, were accused by people online of jumping the queue while visiting the Queen’s coffin when it was lying-in-state last week.
However, the duo have strenuously denied the claims, and This Morning took to Instagram to issue a statement about the incident over the weekend. “Like hundreds of accredited broadcasters and journalists, we were given official permission to access the hall,” she said. Since the incident began, numerous celebrities have spoken out in defense of the stars, including former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan.
