For the first time in 50 years, Secretary Hillary Clinton is returning to the classroom. No stranger to female empowerment,honoree) is combining forces with Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs to increase female voices in foreign relations through their new Institute of Global Politics.

“Secretary Clinton has inspired us to be more ambitious, bold, and creative. Coming to faculty meetings, and even chairing a search committee. And yes, I’m trying to explain to her that it's not normal for students to applaud when a professor walks into the classroom, and I’m under no illusion that they’re clapping for me.
