, there’ve been plenty of twists and turns. What else would you expect from a show that all started with a lie, albeit a necessary one when Liza Miller decided to start passing as a 20-something to get a second chance in the publishing industry? Over the past couple of years, we’ve seen Liza somehow pull off the ruse, but also deal with the consequences — ones that have allowed her to thrive when nobody would give her the opportunity as a divorced mother returning to the workforce.
“I feel the way that Lauren lifts up Kelsey is extraordinary. She just wants her to be a sensation,” Molly tellsSeason six premiered Wednesday night , setting up storylines that’ll surely have their own twists and turns. Now that former head of Empirical Press Charles has ceded the reins to Kelsey, he and Liza can take their relationship out into the open, with some rendezvous time back at Liza’s loft in Brooklyn.
“They don't tell us anything. So, when we read the scripts, there's always been [people asking] when Sutton and I are going to sing on the show,” Hilary says. “Darren [Star] has really stuck to his guns of like, ‘No, they don't know how to sing. They're like normal people.’ So I think it was really clever the way that integrated that into the show.”“We were so tired at the end of the day that I was just like getting flashbacks, it was like PTSD. But, I loved it.
