EL GRANADA – Highway 1 in El Granada was expected to be closed until at least 10 p.m. Monday afterThe roadway was closed in both directions at Coronado Street, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

“There is no access north from Half Moon Bay, or south from El Granada,” the sheriff’s office said in an alert. “All traffic must detour through Pacifica and I-280.”As of 6 p.m., gusts up to 54 mph had been recorded at San Francisco International Airport. The Oakland and San Jose international airports recorded gusts up to 43 and 36 mph, respectively.
