Jantjies made the last of his 25 Test appearances in August 2023 before missing out on World Cup selection, four years on from lifting the trophy. The 28-year-old returned from a shoulder injury for the DHL Stormers in the Vodacom URC clash with Munster in Cape Town. A stalwart for the Cape side, Jantjies has made 86 first-class appearances for the Stormers and started in the Vodacom URC final win against the Bulls in 2022.
