The heroic stranger caught the baby as it was thrown to safety
A witness of an inferno which tore through a residential bulding in Ibrox has hailed a heroic stranger for rescuing a baby that was thrown to safety by a worried mum on the first floor.
They told Glasgow Live: "She was screaming at the top of her voice and at that point I looked out of the window. "It was unbelieveable. I ran downstairs and someone else was pulled out because these workmen managed to get a ladder up to the window.
