Happy Saint Patrick's Day Weekend! The St. Patrick's Day parade kicks off in Cleveland tomorrow at 2:04 p.m. If you are thinking that is later than normal - you are right! This year the parade starts one hour later to accommodate Sunday church services. The 2024 theme for the event is One Island, One Nation.Saturday will be fantastic! Warm, breezy and dry. But there is a cold front sitting to our NW. It will slide through Saturday evening and into early on Sunday.
Dress warm if you are going to the parade! We are used to a chilly St. Patty's in Cleveland, though! The average high temperature is 45 degrees. So it will be seasonable, just not as warm as the warmest St. Patrick's Day ever that occurred back in 2012 with a high of 77 degrees.Patrick T. Walsh is a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Irish American Club East Side and the West Side Irish American Club. Prior to the parade, the National Anthem of Ireland will be sung by Kathleen Cooper.
For $5, you can jump on the Rapid and get to and from downtown without having to worry about driving.
