Here are some ways to ring in the Year of the Rabbit in Toronto and the GTA.

Participants in the wishing tree activity will have the opportunity to win prizes from Uniqlo, Arc’teryx, Legoland, Coach and others. For every wish made, there will also be an additional $1 donated to Mackenzie Health.

Attendees can expect various promotions at Vaughan Mills including 10 per cent off regular merchandise at Levi’s, 20 per cent off standard admission at Legoland and 15 per cent off purchases of $100 or more at Tommy Hilfiger.will be hosting an array of festivities with feature booths and 500 lucky bags.

At 4300 Steeles Avenue East, events will include a stage show, a traditional lion dance, martial arts, an immersive Hanfu costume experience and more., at 300 Borough Drive, will host celebrations on Jan. 21 and 22 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Centre Court. Festivities include an eye dotting ceremony, lion and folk dancing and “a visit from the God of Fortune.”On Jan. 29, Willowdale Councillor Lily Cheng and Toronto District School Board Trustee Dr. Weidong Pei will be attending Lunar New Year celebrations atThere will be stories in partnership with the Toronto Public Library as well as a lion dance, performances and crafts.Starting on Sunday, the TTC will feature a design celebrating Lunar New Year on three buses and two streetcars.

These vehicles will run on the following routes: 510 Spadina , the 506 Carlton , 25 Don Mills, 39 Finch East and 102 Markham.
