The South African National Roads Agency (Sanral) has announced toll increases for the country’s major highways effective from 1 March 2022.
The tariffs are adjusted annually in line with the Consumer Price Index as obtained from Statistics South Africa . The CPI percentage that was applied to determine the new tariffs is 5%, as published in the Government Gazettes of 11 February 2022, the agency said.
“The funds go a long way to ensuring that the roads agency fulfils its mandate of delivering quality road infrastructure that adds value to South African citizens.
