Here are the 2020 Miss South Africa top 10
Miss South Africa 2018 Tamaryn Green crowns Zozibini Tunzi during the Miss South Africa 2019 grand finale at the Time Square Sun Arena on 9 August 2019. Runner-up Sasha-Lee Olivier took over the title, after Zozibini was crowned Miss Universe 2019.The top 10 will compete in the Miss South Africa grand finale in October.
Previously, the Miss South Africa Organisation has sent a representative to both Miss Universe and Miss World, but will also now be fielding a candidate to Miss Supranational. Miss South Africa announced this year's top 10 finalists, during a live reveal on the organisation's digital streaming platform on Wednesday.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic and restrictions on movement, the 2020 Miss South Africa pageant has taken a digital approach, allowing the public to be more involved in the different phases of the competition. Along with their reaction after finding out the news that they've placed in the top 10, former Miss South Africa Liesl Laurie introduced each candidate to the country during a sit-down interview. The top 10 will compete in the grand finale, which has been moved to October 2020., comes from Ha-Masia in Venda, Limpopo, but currently lives in Johannesburg.
