The pockets are awesome and when I put my phone in there I forget it’s even there. Nice and deep pockets. The material is smooth and spandex-yThey’re also pretty warm for a chilly fall day which is a bonus for me. I don’t think they’re going to be uncomfortable for working out or anything, I just mean they feel substantial enough to be pants in public.
