Former Superman actor Henry Cavill has seen DC's upcoming movie release, The Flash, and has a strong opinion about the film. Cavill played Superman in the old DCEU but has since left the role due to DC moving into a new direction, both for its universe and Clark Kent, with James Gunn's Superman: Legacy, which focuses on a younger version of the Man of Steel. Cavill might be out as Superman, but the actor remains interested in DC, with Cavill having watched The Flash.
Calle also revealed that after she got the Supergirl role, the actress asked Cavill and Arrowverse Supergirl actress Melissa Benoist for advice. Cavill and Gal Gadot reportedly had their cameos cut from The Flash, so it is interesting to see the actor's perspective on the finished movie.
