System assists police

The Belleville Police Service is looking to have more residents get involved in a volunteer program that’s proven effective in fighting crime.

If you have a home or business security camera or doorbell camera, police are asking that you register the systems with CAMSafe. This will allow police to request access to video should a crime occur at your residence or in the neighbourhood. The program, created by the Belleville Police Service in 2021, is voluntary and you will remain in full control of your security systems and account.
