Studio 2880 wants the community to gather to help create the I LOVE PG scene for the entry into the Build Frosty Shaw National Competition on Wednesday, Jan. 25 from 2 to 5 p.m. on its front lawn.
The Prince George & District Community Arts Council has been nominated to be part of the Canada-wide Shaw TV Build Frosty competition and they need your help to build the snowscape at 2880-15th Avenue.Everyone is welcome to create a snow heart to add to the scene where a snowperson, created by carver sculptor Elmer Gunderson, will be surrounded by a sea of coloured snow hearts that will display Prince George’s community spirit.
There will be free hot chocolate and coloured spray paints available on site to make this project a bit more fun. Once the snowscape is built a photo will be taken and Shaw will publish the image for the online competition where you can vote for your favourite Frosty.
