Onus is on Aston Martin to maintain a strong development path
Last season the AMR22 was one of the most improved cars in the back half of the championship with Aston Martin needing to put in a similar performance if they want to stay near the front of the pack. “They [Red Bull] have learned over the years and have grown together without compromise,” said the former F1 driver. “Verstappen is the most complete racing driver in the field.
“Fernando is certainly helpful with his experience but I think Red Bull still has a few things up their sleeve.”“I think so,” he said. “On the other hand, he will be happy to be home, not having the stress. It wasn’t always that easy in the team either.‘Fernando drives as if he were 25 years old again’
