Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a heat warning for the Greater Sudbury area today, which affects the following areas:
The high on Tuesday is forecast at 32 C, with a 30 per cent showers/thunderstorm risk in the afternoon, and Wednesday’s high is forecast at 30 C. “Although some individuals are at higher risk, anyone can suffer from heat-related illnesses,” Health Protection Division manager Burgess Hawkins said in the release. “Everyone should take precautions.”
