A specialist school in has issued a desperate plea for help after its minibus was stolen by heartless thieves.
The minibus was used to transfer children with disabilities to and from school and police say the theft has "caused a huge amount of disruption" within the school "not to mention the additional stress and strain it places on the children and family of the students". The school on Far Croft has also shared several posts on social media but to no avail.
"The minibus was last seen heading Eastbound on the M65 near Brindle. This minibus is used to transfer children with disabilities to and from school and the fact it has been stolen has caused a huge amount of disruption within the school not to mention the additional stress and strain it places on the children and family of the students.
The school posted on X formerly Twitter, saying: "At 7pm last night, the school mini bus was stolen from the locked school grounds. Registration NX12 0TH. We are a special school and need the bus to get the children out to their different activities, including therapies they greatly need. Please help us."
