Penwortham boy, 8, killed after being hit by van named locally as family and friends leave heartbroken tributes
Flowers, pictures and heart-breaking messages have been left at the scene where an eight-year-old died after being hit by a van.
Another said: "Layton, you will never be forgotten by anyone. With your bubbly personality we lost you too soon little man. You'll be 8 forever. We all miss you so much. You was like my brother. I'm going to miss you waiting for me after school and you annoying me. I loved you always every time." Another said: "Keeping you in our prayers at this sad time. Love from all at St Mary Magdalen's Primary School."
