'Heart warming' moment children sing along and dance with elderly woman on Metrolink
A ‘heart warming’ clip of an elderly woman enjoying the sounds of Neil Diamond with a group of teenagers on the Metrolink has gone viral online.
“They were playing really loud, booming music and she just turned to them and said ‘you could put something more cheerful on’ and they did,” Debbie explained. “Kids often don’t get enough recognition these days but these children were just bloody amazing. “We take her to Dancing With Dementia and she thinks she owns the group,” Debbie laughs. “She actually had a serious accident last year so to see her dancing again is just brilliant.
