After a bye\u002Dweek helped the Stampeders get healthy, they are ready to battle against the Blue Bombers.
Around McMahon Stadium this week, though, the Stampeders were downplaying the whole thing.
When opponents make mistakes, the Bombers make them pay. That was made abundantly clear two weeks ago in Winnipeg when the Stamps receivers had an uncharacteristic number of drops and a couple penalties really haunted the team. It was a game they could have won, but the Bombers took advantage of every opening the Stamps gave them and emerged with a 26-19 win.Article content
The Stamps are also coming off their second bye-week in a month. While they did have a few key players out sick earlier in the week, they’re mostly back and the team is fielding a team that is remarkably healthy and well-rested.
