Xolisani Ndongeni, the boxing champ and trainer known professionally as Nomeva, shares some tips with Drum readers.
The boxing champion, whom many may recognise from posts on social media by some of his clients who are public figures in showbiz, discovered his love for training quite by accident.“I went to live in the US in 2017 to fight professionally on a four-year contract, but because of some technicalities with my SA contract, I was not allowed to fight there.He soon felt frustrated and decided to come back home.
The first priority when he landed on home soil, however, was to get into the boxing ring. Ndongeni says he’d spent so much time training and not fighting abroad that he was in the best shape of his life.
