Itumeleng Khune says Ronwen Williams can still achieve more in the coming years for both Bafana Bafana and Mamelodi Sundowns.
Since the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, Williams has been Bafana’s number-one keeper and over the years, he took over the captaincy.
“I was with him for so many years competing for the number one jersey for Bafana and I think he gave me the respect, he listened to all the advice I gave him.”Williams was nominated at the Ballon d’Or awards, where he eventually finished ninth for the Yashine trophy retained by Emi Martinez. “So for him, in Africa, if it was CAF awards I would have given it to him because he’s done well and maybe that’s how he was judged.”
