Lebohang “Lash” Molefe has been missing for almost three weeks. A body was found recently and his family now wants answers.When he left home, he didn’t know it would be the last time. His family didn’t know that they would spend the next two weeks scouring through the township, looking for any trace of him.
No matter how drunk he gets, he always comes home, which is why his aunt got worried when she woke up and Lebo wasn’t in his room.Zandile Khumalo breaks her silence on the Senzo Meyiwa murder case “We went to the tavern and we got no assistance but we could tell there and then that something was wrong and that is how we got more members of the community in Dobsonville to assist us, because we were desperate for help. We asked his friends what happened and they were giving us different versions of the story. Initially, they told us that he left the tavern at 8pm but we saw a video that was taken at the place around 11pm, and then a different time was given to us,” she says.
Wednesday morning she received a call that her nephew’s body was found in Protea Glen by a jogger. She is relieved that they found his body but they are frustrated that they do not know how they are going to get the body from the mortuary, they are currently looking for someone to assist them to get the body back.
